this week, the best young paddlers from over 30 countries are in town competing in the the 2012 junior canoe slalom world championships. since i had the day off, i headed down to watch them practice for a bit. i was amazed at the strength and skill these young athletes had in some very tough water conditions. very cool stuff indeed!
this fall, i'm heading back to nepal to start a long-term volunteer trip, and hope to travel through india and SE asia helping those less fortunate. i'm trying to get 750 people to give just $10, and 100% of the money will go towards buying food, clothing, medical supplies, etc. for those in need. care to share?
